A balance between bitter-sweet dark chocolate and roasted malt characteristics dominate the flavor. You’ll also notice some faint coffee bitterness mixed in with some caramel undertones. These blends of sweet, bitter and roast really help mellow out the intensity of this high alcohol dark beer, making it a highly enjoyable and very complex porter.
