Made by Blue Earl Brewing Company
DELAWARE’S 7TH MICROBREWERY LOCATED IN THE HISTORIC TOWN OF SMYRNA.
The name is taken from "Stardust" an American standard composed in 1927 by Hoagy Carmichael, and is one of the most recorded songs of the 20th century. This beer has a complex bouquet of citrus and spice, with a golden color, and a marriage of spicy, fruity and alcohol flavors supported by a soft, rounded grainy-sweet malt impression. The beer is brewed with Pilsner, Wheat, Abbey and Victory malts. We then add a healthy dose of sugar near the end of the boil. We use a handful of Hallertau and Sterling hops to balance the malt sweetness. This beer weighs in at a lofty 9.5% ABV, but can be very deceiving due to its smoothness and drinkability. A sensational complexity of aroma and flavor. Notes of orange and lemon with a hint of white pepper and clove.
