About Track 85 by Old Tomorrow

Track 85 Lagered Ale is inspired by the epic feat of uniting Canada by rail with the last spike driven into the Canadian Pacific Railway at Craigellachie, British Columbia on November 7, 1885. This beer celebrates the impossible challenges of creating a transcontinental railway — overcoming insurmountable obstacles and forging a steel spine through ice, rock and wilderness. Canada’s national railway became a compelling symbol of unity as it connected our vast country from sea to sea. Just like the rail cars that carry our barley across the Canadian Prairies, Old Tomorrow has gone old school and brewed this lagered ale in the traditional German Alt style and then cold lagered it to mellow out its fruitiness and create an exceptionally smooth and refreshing brew, perfect for winding down after a hard day’s work.
