About Ur-Bock by Brasserie Vrooden

Since the 11th century, the Einbeck’s brewers, in Lower Saxony made a strong dark brown beer from barley and wheat. This beer was cold conditioned and heavily hopped. The fame of this beer was such that it was exported throughout the cities of the Hansa league; the protection and trade league that lasted almost 400 years and spread out from Britain to Russia. We hope you’ll enjoy our version of this ancestral beer.

We brew genuine German beers, by the methods and ingredients used, without compromising on taste and quality!
