Mixed culture barrel aged Golden sour beer re-fermented on 440 lbs of ripe organic Okanagan Santa Rosa plums. The results: tastes like eating your way out of a plum. This beer pours a orange rose sunset colour, is refreshingly sour, and packs a plum punch. Tannins from the fruit skins result in a dry finish and enhance the puckering note from the underlying sourness. The beer itself spent eight months in barrels, was re-fermented on whole BC Santa Rosa plums for another four months and then bottle conditioned. 14 months production time total.
