Yokai is a delightfully balanced blend of bright Yuzu citrus, umami from the seaweed and gentle spice from Sichuan peppercorns. It takes inspiration from Yadokai, their infamous sake-inspired 13% beer.
Yokai brings the delights of these ingredients, used so well in it’s predecessor, but are now more accessible in a balanced lower alcohol beer. It's all about the balance of the ingredients, and how they can work with Asian food. This takes inspiration from one of Wild Beer's favourite beers - Yadokai, but is packaged for a more everyday occasion.
Kelp seaweed and sea salt build a salty, umami base while oats maintain body and mouthfeel as a sharp yuzu citrus high note leaps up with the lightly fragrant Szechuan playing in the background.
