About Allgäuer Brauhaus
Future has origin
The history of beer in the Allgäu dates back to the time of the Celts more than 2,000 years ago. Monks from the Imperial Abbey of St. Gallen were the first to brew commercial beer in Kempten.
As one of the oldest breweries in Germany, the Allgäu brewery can proudly look back on more than 600 years of tradition.
As early as 1394, the archives report on the monastery brewery, the origin of today's Allgäu brewery. Finally, in 1911, Allgäuer Brauhaus AG was founded
