Asheville’s third brewery opened in 1998 as a mash-up pizza joint, second-run movie theater, and brewpub, all wrapped up in a bright, happy, family-friendly space on Merrimon Avenue in North Asheville. A second brewpub, in downtown Asheville’s hip South Slope area, opened in 2006. That location now houses both our 15-barrel and 7-barrel brewhouses, plus plenty of shiny fermentation tanks from which some of Asheville’s most well-loved, creative, award-winning brews emerge. Our third location, a pizza and beer delivery and pick-up kitchen, opened in South Asheville in 2012. Our mission is great food, quality craft beer, excellent service and fun for all ages (kids, kids-at-heart, and canines). We’ve been keeping Asheville Hoppy since 1998!

One company, but three locations! Visit North Asheville for pub food, fresh brews, discount movies, and our fun-filled Game Room (both kid and kid-at-heart friendly). Our downtown brewpub houses all our brewery production equipment (behind the scenes but ask for a tour). Up front you'll find great food, beer direct from the brewdeck, a full bar, and a huge covered patio. Meanwhile, if you're in South Asheville, pick up pizza and beer from our home base there, or have it delivered to your doorstep.
