About Aztec Brewing Company
We are Aztec Brewing Company. A little bit of nostalgia and a little bit of new life.
Although we are working to revive an oldstyle brand, we are also working hard to be conscious of the importance of being green and being natural.
We use choice malts and high quality hops. It costs more but you'll agree it's worth it. We want you to be able to savor the flavor before you taste it.
Our beers range in flavors mild to strong. The alcohol levels vary too. From a good kick back beer, to a beer that will kick back. Give us a try. Aztec Beer from Aztec Brewing Company.
The original Aztec Brewery was started in Mexico during Prohibition. When Prohibition ended, the brewery was moved to San Diego. It became known as ABC - Aztec Brewing Company. In 1953 the brewery was purchased by a competitor from the midwest. The brand was later retired and disappeared from San Diego.
In 2008, John Webster discovered the brand and began bringing it back to life with his partner, Claudia Faulk and their youngest son, Tristan Faulk-Webster. In 2011 they opened a small production brewery with tap room in Vista, California. In the summer of 2012 head brewer Paul Naylor joined the team.
