Bagby Beer Company

Bagby Beer Company is the dream-turned reality for long-term pro brewer Jeff Bagby and his wife, Dande. Jeff has worked for several large breweries and brewpubs in North County San Diego since 1997, most recently acting as the Director of Brewery Operations for the Pizza Port brewpub chain, as well as head brewer at their Carlsbad location. In his final three years there (2009, 2010 & 2011), he was awarded Large Brewpub and Brewer of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival – the single largest honor possible at a national competition. Jeff left Pizza Port January 2012 to begin working on Bagby Beer. Jeff remains one of the most awarded professional brewers in the country.

Bagby is pronounced ‘BAG-bee’.
