At Big Spruce Brewing, we brew only unfiltered, unpasteurized, unbelievably good beer. Drop by our on-farm brewery in Nyanza to get yourself a growler of our beer. You can also find us at the Cape Breton Farmers' Market and a Nova Scotian tap near you.
We refuse to filter the goodness out our beer, so each of our batches takes 18 to 30 days to brew, ferment and condition while the cloudiness gently disappears. This is slower than other breweries and it results in a slow produced beer that is wonderfully full of flavour from our fermentation stage.
