About Brasserie Sir John
The tasting room, annexed to the brewery, is a friendly, eclectic but above all open-minded place where difference will be welcome and homogeneity excluded. A place to taste a variety of beers and dishes as simple as they are sophisticated, made from local ingredients.
The Brasserie Sir John Brewing Co . is named in honor of Sir John Johnson, officer, civil servant, politician, landowner and seigneur, born November 5, 1741 in Mount Johnson (near Amsterdam, New York). He was the owner of the seigneury of Argenteuil at the beginning of the 19th century.
The brewery makes a link with the history of the region which was colonized by Americans from Vermont more precisely from Jericho, a small town near Burlington, VT…
