About Brickway Brewery & Distillery
We opened December 13th, 2013 in Omaha's historic Old Market District. We started out brewing just a few staple beers, a pilsner, hefeweizen, IPA and oatmeal stout. But being natural-born whisky lovers, our focus soon expanded to distilling our own whisky.
The challenge we faced was that whisky takes at least two years to mature. So, while our whisky was aging, we decided to broaden our craft to include Libertas Rum, Brickway Vodka and Brickway Gin, which are now proudly served in many bars and restaurants in Nebraska.
After a patient two-year wait, we were finally ready to introduce our Brickway Single Malt Whisky! It has since won three international gold medals, a silver and a bronze. We now produce more than 30 beers and 10 different spirits in a year.
