Brutopia

Since we opened our doors early in 1997, our attentive, friendly staff has been serving full-flavoured beers, freshly brewed on our premises. We are also very proud to be a locally owned business, brewing in the most sustainable manner; using primarily, malts from local Quebec farms and recycling the ‘spent grain’ or ‘mash’ back to local farms. This provides a clean, high-quality natural feed for healthy, local livestock. You will also find a great selection of many of Quebec’s finest bottled and canned craft/micro brews and gluten-free beers. If you are interested in supporting an economically, and environmentally strong community, we are an easy, as well as a really fun choice to make.

In spite of some extra costs to maintain these high standards, we are always committed to offering our guests great value for a premium product.

This is also true for our delicious ‘Brutapas kitchen’. You will find a globally inspired menu offering a well priced, healthy selection, of alternative vegetarian items as well as some old favourites, and gourmet sandwiches inspired by great kitchens around the world.

You can enjoy our great happy hour, seven days a week, (Monday, all day and night), featuring deals on our house beers, and a wide range of cocktails and wine. You can also enjoy our nightly, live entertainment without any cover charge,

As well, we are happy to boast Montreal’s longest-running open mic, every Sunday night, as well as Trivia ‘quiz night’ every Monday night. So, come take part in the show, or challenge some friends to put their IQ to the test!

Brutopia consists of 3 floors , featuring 3 different bars, and 3 terraces, one of which is heated, and operates all year long. This allows us to accept small and large reservations, and private areas are often available. We are also proud to extend our diverse resourses to many different groups, fund raising for a wide range of worthy causes!
