About Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault
La Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault is a century-old family business located in Isle-aux-Coudres and is the main fruit farm in the region. Our orchards extend over an area of twenty-two hectares, where more than 6,000 apple trees (35 varieties of apples) and 3,000 fruit trees (pear, plum, cherry, serviceberry) are cultivated. The fruits grow in abundance thanks to the microclimate of Isle, promoting both the opening of our orchards to the population for U-pick and meeting all our production needs.
The cider house alone transforms these fruits into 50,000 liters of juice, to produce our 25 ciders, mistelles and creams, totaling more than 100,000 bottles per year! Our expertise has enabled us to become the Cider Economuseum in 2003, so that our know-how is disseminated and shared with the public. Our wide range of processed products (some of which are Terroir Charlevoix certified ) is complemented by cider vinegar, apple juice and must and butters, jellies and jams. Everything is marketed throughout Quebec, through our own distribution network and partners.
Our SME is a major player in the regional economy, with its fifty employees and its great involvement in the community, while being a major ambassador for Isle-aux-Coudres and Charlevoix. About 60,000 visitors stop at the cider house each year and more than 5,000 people come to pick in the fall. Recognized as much by our peers as by our customers, we are one of the most dynamic orchards and arboriculture companies in Quebec! Innovative and expanding, the Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault is also active in the restaurant business with its restaurant-bistro Le Corylus and its new biscuit / creamery Aux fruits du biscuitier .
Producer of happiness since 1918, the Pedneault family continues to focus on the quality of its products, the excellence of its customer service, its attractiveness, its daring, its determination and its good humor to remain a flagship of Agritourism in Charlevoix, but first and foremost, that of Isle-aux-Coudres.
In 2020, the company is taking great measures to encourage local purchasing. The creation of the charlevoixenligne.com transactional platform allows home delivery of more than 350 products from more than 25 Charlevoix producers. There you will find delicatessen, jam, chocolate, mushroom, coffee, tea, vinaigrette, sauce, honey, saffron, spice, juice, cereal, cocktail syrup, skin care ... Everything you need for the gift perfect!
