About Devil's Canyon Brewing Company
Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, located in the heart of the San Francisco bay area peninsula, produces award-winning, sustainably handcrafted beer and root beer centered on the most premium ingredients.
Prior to the 1780’s the canyon portion of Belmont and San Carlos was known as “la Canada del Diablo” or Devil’s Canyon.
Since opening our doors in 2001, Devil’s Canyon Brewing Co. has won over 35 awards for our craft beers.
San Francisco Business Journal readers voted Devil’s Canyon “Best Beer” in 2014. Also in 2014, the brewery was awarded “Business of the Year” by the City of San Carlos and the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce. San Francisco Bay Area A-List readers voted Devil’s Canyon “Favorite Bay Area Brewery” in 2013, “Best Bay Area Brewpub” in 2015, and “Best Bay Area Beer Bar” in 2014 and 2015.
In 2015 the brewery received the first place award from Sustainable San Mateo County for our Culture of Reutilization Ethics (CORE) philosophy and practices and International Canned Beer Festival (Canfest) attendees awarded Devil’s Canyon the People’s Choice award.
