Four Mile Brewing

Four Mile Brewing was born out of the desire for a high quality, low cost, local beer. A product the people of the area could be proud to call their own. So why the name Four Mile? The Four Mile Valley embodies every aspect of the Greater Olean Area. It’s natural resources are what drove the industries. It is deeply rooted in farming and agriculture. Its surrounding ridges provide recreational opportunities and draws tourists from all over for its inspiring beauty. It’s view has inspired countless students at St. Bonaventure and is a part of tradition at the school.

Four Mile isn’t about a geographic location, although locals do know the name as a valley, creek, and hamlet situated on a ridge. It’s an Idea, that everything we are can be attributed to the natural resources, the hard work, the inspiration, and vision of our area. It’s not an Olean beer, or Allegany, Hinsdale, Portville…It’s not a beer from a river which flows from Coudersport to Pittsburgh. It’s fresh, it’s local, it’s born from the same natural resources and vision that has made us what we are today, and that will propel us into the future. That is what Four Mile Brewing is!
