About Lompoc Brewing

The Old Lompoc Brewery (as it was formerly known) began producing handcrafted ales and lagers in December 1996. In May 2000, it was purchased and reopened – by original brewer Jerry Fechter – as The New Old Lompoc. In 2005, production demands for the Lompoc brand were outgrowing the tiny New Old Lompoc brewery; a seven-bbl brewhouse was installed at the Fifth Quadrant location in 2006 to complement the original brewery production, and the company was renamed Lompoc Brewing. The 5Q brewery was upgraded to a 15 bbl brewhouse in March 2011 to keep up with added demand, and in 2012, all production was shifted to the 5Q brewery.
