About Mayne Island Brewing Company
Brewer Michael Garratt, his artist wife Annette Witteman and their children Jasper and Grace moved to Mayne Island from the Okanagan Valley in 2005 and quickly settled into small Gulf Island living.
Michael Garratt's role representing Kettle Valley, Orofino, and Pentage wineries for the past 16 years and selling into the Vancouver and Whistler market has allowed him weekends to develop his real passion of home brewing. Early years galloping around the Cheshire countryside of England and many more travels to pubs across Europe has defined his brewing pallet.
In December of 2016, under the mentorship of some of Vancouver's most amazing brewers we OPENED our small batch brewery and on site store to the public.
