Mission Springs Brewing Company opened its doors in October of 1996. Situated above the restaurant is a 10 bbl brew house constructed by Newlands Inc. which overlooks the Fraser River in Mission BC. The brew house setup is comprised of a brew kettle with a combination mash/lauter tun, three open-top fermenters and three uni-conical fermenters. In addition, there are thirteen conditioning/serving tanks for the 10+ beers on tap hidden down in our cellar.
We use a single temperature infusion mashing program to produce big flavour and wonderfully balanced beers. In the midst of a booming craft beer scene, we are expanding our brewery to keep up with demand with the first three of eight brand new 3600L outdoor tanks already in use, as well as a grain silo, a 2400L packaging bright tank and a new HLT up in the brewhouse all up and running at full capacity.
A fully automated 6-head filling machine is used for bottling and a semi- automated canning machine is used for packaging our canned beers.
