Nøisom

With humble respect for the city's beer culture, the name Nøisom commits us to quality, good craftsmanship and a strong desire to create drinking pleasure. Nøisom takes its name from where the beer was first brewed.

On a plot of land from Nøisom gård, Fredrikstad Håndbryggerlaug operated its activity until Nøisom breweries was realized in an old margarine factory a stone's throw away.

Nøisom farm was one of the largest farms outside the fortress city of Fredrikstad, which was established in 1567. The farm supplied horses for the artillery, food for the inhabitants and brewed beer for everyone in the town.

Since its inception on 12/12/2012, Nøisom has developed from a small-scale brewery to become a beverage producer with a wide range of craft products.
