Since 1634, the Paulaner Brewery has been an integral part of Munich's culture, tradition and history. At that time the Paulan monks in the monastery of Neudeck began with the beer brew to bridge the fasting time and soon supplied the population of Munich with their tasty beer. This is how the success story of the Paulaner brand began, which today stands for special beer enjoyment, high brewing competence, Bavarian beer and gastronomy culture and the famous Munich way of life. About 700 employees work for the success of the Paulaner Brewery, which is still located right in the middle of Munich, in the district Haidhausen-Au on the Nockherberg. More than two million hectoliters of beer leave the company annually. The Paulaner brewery exports its products to more than 70 countries and still understands it as a genuine Munich traditional company.
