Privatbrauerei H. Egerer

Using this, around 50 employees produce over 170 different drinks at the Privatbrauerei H. Egerer. These include mineral water, 12 different beers and various sodas, spritzers and juices – all delivered by the Grokj home service. Our drinks are all bottled by one of our three filling stations, two of which are glass filling stations with an hourly output of 20,000 and 25,000 bottles, as well as a PET filling station, with an output of 5,000 bottles per hour. In a double shift we can therefore produce over 500,000 bottles a day. With an annual production of over 80,000,000 bottles, the Privatbrauerei H. Egerer is southern Bavaria’s largest beverage producer. To ensure quality control for every bottle, each one is marked with the time and date of production, as well as an abbreviation for the shift and the best before date. Our in-house laboratory carries out numerous tests assigned to corresponding batches, to ensure consistent quality. Our beers, mineral waters and Grokj brand drinks are renowned nationwide for their high quality and variety of flavors. The name “Grokj” was created by Heinrich Egerer in the 1950’s and stands for his home town of Grosskoellnbach and “Junior”, resembling the future of the company.
