Rocky View Brewing Company

Rocky View Brewing Company is a nano brewery located between the city of Calgary and the town of Cochrane, in the rural community of Bearspaw, Alberta.  The brewery was established in 2016 out of a passion for crafting great tasting beer, one small batch at a time.  The founder, Lyle Thorsen, enjoyed sharing his home brew creations with family and close friends so much he decided to expand into a nano scale operation to share his passion for brewing with others who also enjoy drinking fresh and flavorful local beer. 

The initial focus will be on crafting three flagship ales; IPA, Amber and Blonde along with limited production runs of seasonal beers. The first commercial batches of beer were brewed in the fall of 2016.  Look for Rocky View Brewing Company’s products at your local pub or liquor store in the Calgary and Cochrane area soon!
