About Trestle Brewing Company
The brewery includes a taproom serving year-round beer offerings brewed on site as well as other seasonal special beers. The taproom also features a great menu that pairs well with our beers. The open concept design connects the brewhouse area on one end through our taproom/retail area, out onto our waterfront patio on the other end. The Taproom has become a community hub where we regularly host a variety of awesome events!
Long ago the property was occupied by one of the largest train stations in northern Ontario. Later, it was a fuel oil storage depot. The property had been vacant for almost 20 years and testing confirmed it was contaminated with hydrocarbons. After the purchase of the property a full site evaluation and cleanup was undertaken. We decided early on that cleaning up the site was the right thing to do. It is an incredible location with a unique view and we are fortunate to have an opportunity to have built a brewery here!
The 4000 sq. ft facility opened July 1, 2018 and includes a taproom serving year round beer offerings brewed on site as well as other seasonal special beers throughout the year. We have a full kitchen inside serving up a small, but delicious menu of food that pairs perfectly with our beer. The open concept design connects the brew house area on one end through our taproom/retail area, out onto our waterfront patio on the other end. This spring we added a riverside Biergarten that doubled our total seating and gets you even closer to the water.
