About Urban Brew Labs
Who are we?
Established in 2017, Urban Brew Labs is a craft brewery serving Ravenswood area patrons with locally inspired beer brewed with the utmost attention to detail.
With over 15 years of professional brewing experience, our co-founder and brewer, James is excited to be producing beers desired by consumers fueled with local inspiration.
Having a passion to brew a diverse array of beers using traditional ingredients and processes, our beers are sure to capture the timid beer drinkers while satisfying the most experienced craft beer drinkers.
Our Facility
Urban Brew Labs' beers are produced on an Allied Beverage 15bbl two vessel steam brewhouse. Each batch will produce 465 gallons of wort. We have four 30bbl fermenters capable of fermenting 930 gallons each. Initially our capacity will be around 2,500 barrels per year.
Our Beers
We have a wide arrange of styles of craft beer available from our Summer Vibes Kolsch to Porter's Porter. All beers are available in 16oz. cans as well as draft throughout Chicago.
We believe our core beers should be determined organically rather than telling our customers what we want them to drink. Our beer lineup is designed to be ever-changing, allowing the consumer to help us determine which beers will make a repeat appearance.
