Bitter & Esters proudly welcomes Avery Brewing Company’s Andy Parker (via Skype) to talk about their Botanical & Barrel series. Andy has a long history with homebrewing and craft beer that took him from New York (Commonwealth Brewery) to Hawaii (Kona) and finally, to Avery in Colorado where he is the Chief Barrel Herder. Andy will talk about the ins and outs of Avery’s extensive barrel aging program. We'll do a q&a after the tasting.
We’ll also be working our way through all of Avery’s Botanicals & Barrels series including their Vanilla Bean Porter, Tangerine Quad and Raspberry Sour while talking about process and any other questions homebrewers might have.
