Intrepid is doing some pretty amazing things with beers. From a basil IPA to a garlic amber, their uniqueness and willing to try anything definitely caught our eye.

Head brewer Andrew Moore fell in love with craft beer when he moved to Boulder for grad school in Classical archaeology. He started homebrewing as a distraction from homework when he wasn’t digging over in the Mediterranean and eventually decided he’d rather brew beer for a living than be an archaeologist. But that passion for travel and of history and of culture stayed with him, influencing his brews. While many brewers come from science and engineering backgrounds, Andrew is a storyteller – and an explorer.
