Beer School

Join us in an adventure in beer education at Big Rock Brewery! Led by BJCP certified, Calgary-based David Nuttall, you will experience the most comprehensive beer learning experience in the city. Registering for Beer School entitles you to four (4) three-hour classes over a period of four weeks (Fridays - April 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, 6-9 pm). Each three-hour class will cover a variety of topics, including:

the history of beer;

how beer is made;

the ingredients used in brewing;

beer styles;

packaging;

home brewing;

storing and aging beer;

pairing beer with food;

extensive tasting;

a tour of Big Rock (week four);

and much, much more!

 Whether you’re already a beer geek looking to top up your knowledge, a homebrewer who wants to learn more about the craft, or you’re a newbie hoping to delve into the world of beer, this program is the perfect fit for beer-lovers of all kinds.
