Beer School: German and German-Style Beers

In celebration of Oktoberfest, our first Beer School of the fall will be a side-by-side tasting of traditional German beers and Alberta/BC renditions and variations on those traditions. This will be held on September 29th.

It will be a great opportunity to sample some of the German greats, and how local breweries have adopted and adapted the style.

Styles include, Heffeweizen, Gose, Helles Lager, Schwarzbier, Rauchbier, Pilsner and Marzen.

Accompanying all those beers will be five appetizers from the kitchen of The Green Bean Java Bistro.
