Learn how to carve a beer stein out of ice!
-- No experience needed -- You will learn about the properties of ice, tool safety, and carving techniques using various chisels. We will carve a beer stein ice sculpture with step-by-step instruction. (creative expression encouraged)
Each workstation includes a 20x10x10in block of clear ice (the size of a large watermelon) and a set of tools to work from.
Up to (2)two people are allowed per workstation.
Ice isn't a messy medium, but it is slippery and wet! So prepare with work shoes and clothes, they will get a little wet.
We will also be working under outdoor temperatures, so dress accordingly.
We will provide safety glasses and gloves.
You are encouraged to take your project home! Bring a cooler with a 20x10x10in space to hold the ice sculpture.
Store in your freezer and display during your next social event!
Water and light snacks are provided. BYOB friendly - Must be 18+, Ages 13-17 must be accompanied by a trusted guardian. Alcholol consumption to minors is prohibited.
