Bitter & Esters is excited to welcome noted homebrew author John Palmer to our legendary monthly homebrew swap for a meet and greet and book signing as part of a whirlwind tour of New York City’s creative brewing scene. John is the author of many popular brewing books including How to Brew, Water-A Comprehensive Guide for Brewers and Brewing Classic Styles.

John is well known throughout the homebrew and craft beer world as a leading authority on all things beer. How to Brew has been an essential guide for new and seasoned homebrewers alike and helped so many learn about the great hobby of homebrewing. John will be visiting us in support of the latest edition of How to Brew which includes 5 new chapters, diagrams, guides, and a whole host of new and useful information. This is a great opportunity for homebrewers and professional brewers alike to meet John and ask for his expert advice.

At our monthly homebrew swap we invite all home brewers to come share their beer with each other. It’s a great way to try delicious home brewed beers and get feedback on your beer. Bring a bottle to pour (and two to swap if you’re so inclined). We always have something special of our own to share.

This event is free and open to the public, 21 and over.
