Latin Dance Basics Sept.7

Free Latin style dance lessons for the beginner, with Sr. Matt Lopez and special guest!

Mr. Lopez and his partner will demonstrate the lead ( "the rules of engagement" ) and the follow ("the frame"). With just a few pointers you will see that the Latin dance styles are very unintimidating, easy, and most importantly, fun - even if they don't appear so in passing. 

Following the brief introduction to the Latin dance basics, we will move into applying these pointers to different latin dance styles (Salsa, merengue, etc).

We will take a couple of breaks to get to know each other since our community is vibrant! (both the geographical community, as well as the dance community) 

Participation is encouraged, but not required (although once you see the fun and the ease, you won't be able to help yourself).
