WHAT: D.C.’s biggest craft beer festival, Snallygaster, will bring no fewer than 350 unique craft beers and ciders from around the globe to Yards Park, set against the backdrop of local food trucks, two stages of live music, games and more. Beer Director Greg Engert curates each and every selection at this unique festival, bringing the same approach he applies daily to his lists at Churchkey, Birch & Barley, Bluejacket, Red Apron Burger Bar, Rustico, The Sovereign, and more. The sixth annual Snallygaster will be the biggest yet, with classic seasonal brews alongside little-known imports, rare and exotic ales in addition to the best of American craft drafts, as well as cask ales and gravity-kegs of Franconian lager. All ticket sales will benefit Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in the Washington, D.C. area.
