Starting in July, and continuing all summer long, the Sovereign is rolling out a slew of rare sour beers every Wednesday. Join us each week as we showcase some of our favorite Belgian producers of sour beer.

Come down to The Sovereign on Wednesday, August 1st, The Sovereign is thrilled to pour 6 drafts from one of our favorite--and lesser-known--brewers in Belgium - Brouwerij De Leite. Highlights from the list for this evening are Cuvée Jeune Homme, a perfectly balanced bitter-sour gem, and Cuvée Soeur’ise, in which a base tripel is soured with lacto, and rolled into wine barrels with whole sour Polish cherries for six months. We will also have some Fils a Papa V, a strong ale aged in Bruichladdich Scotch barrels.

There is no admission fee for this event. All De Leite beers will be priced individually in by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.
